The restoration and conversion of a former Nat West bank at 8 West Street into residential use. 18 West Street had been unsympathetically altered in the last century. Williams Lester reinstated a traditional facade recreating as close as possible the pre-20th century appearance. The restored building sits more comfortably in its historic setting in the heart of the historic town of Wareham and enhances the appearance of West Street. The finished development provides 3 flats in the building fronting West Street, and a new detached dwelling in the rear of the plot fronting onto St Michaels Road.
