The project comprises the replacement of outdated and decaying former church hall with 700m² of new facilities for the growing church community of Christ Church, Westbourne. The accommodation includes a church hall, ancillary rooms for Sunday schools, bible groups, office facilities and an entrance foyer.

The design for the new building has been developed to respect the integrity of the Arts and Crafts character of the original church, which was built in 1913, and is connected by a minimum intervention, frameless glazed link.
