Design adapted to client’s standard development template.
The client has a standard template for developments, and the challenge for us was to make the most out of the site and the setting while adhering to that template.
The building has 2 wings addressing a main road to the south and a quieter residential street to the east. A raised tower element addresses the street junction, while the elevations onto the street are composed of projecting and recessed elements creating a composition of an equivalent scale and proportion to the surrounding residential context.
The building was shortlisted for the What House 2016 awards.
