Appointed by experienced developers M&G Developments, WLA Williams Lester are delighted to have gained the support of the Parish Council for their planning application for 19 new rural homes on the edge of the historic Dorset village of Cerne Abbas.
This low density, sensitively conceived housing scheme brings forward land previously allocated for housing in 2015. Designed with strong reference to the local vernacular in terms of building styles, materials and details, this proposed layout and design seeks to harmonise within its ‘edge of village’ setting and the surrounding AONB. It will offer a mix of largely smaller homes, including 6 Affordable and 13 open market, responding to the high local demand for family housing.
Determination of the Planning Application is anticipated in spring 2022.
